Acceptable Credit Cards
The credit card must be in the renter’s name. We accept prepaid credit cards. Debit cards with Visa logos are acceptable for short-term rentals. We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
Payment Methods
Dream Cars accepts the following payment methods for rental deposits: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, cash, and debit cards.
Renter
Renters may opt to purchase a Loss of Use Waiver at the time of rental. Written proof of liability coverage is required at our office.
Vehicles Leaving Nevada
Our vehicles are not allowed outside of Nevada.
Driving Area
No cars are permitted into Canada or Mexico.
Driver
All drivers must present a valid driver’s license to rent a vehicle. Copies or faxed licenses are not accepted. The original license must be in the driver’s name and valid for the entire rental period. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation and must accompany the official driver’s license from the issuing country. Dream Cars will not rent to drivers with licenses restricted to daytime or business driving only. Learner’s permits are not accepted. Valid temporary licenses are accepted. Expired licenses will not be accepted.
Contract Rates
If a vehicle is needed beyond the due date specified at the contract’s start, the customer must return to the original rental office to sign a new contract. Rates are subject to change. The confirmed rate is only valid for the reserved period. Any extensions or changes to the reservation will result in a rate adjustment. Rates are not pro-rated.
Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of premium 91-grade fuel, or a fuel charge will apply at the end of the rental.
Cancellation Policy
There is a $500 cancellation fee for all cancellations or no-shows. A $500 non-refundable booking deposit is required when making a reservation. Dream Cars reserves the right to cancel a reservation or rental if the customer is deemed uninsured, underinsured, or unable to operate the car safely and legally. In such cases, the customer will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Age Requirements
The minimum age for renters is 21.
Insurance Requirements
All renters must provide full coverage insurance that includes liability coverage for our car and must transfer over. Customers cannot purchase coverage from us and must present proof of coverage at the time of rental. To avoid delays, faxing a copy of the insurance before the rental is recommended. An underage fee may apply.
Insurance Policies And Surcharges
Nevada law requires proof of liability coverage to be carried by the driver at all times. Additional liability coverage can be purchased. Dream Cars reserves the right to cancel reservations or rentals for customers who are uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise deemed unable to operate the car safely and legally, without charging a fee.
Additional Drivers
The fee for additional drivers is $200. The minimum age for additional drivers is 21.
Prohibited Uses
Our rental vehicles may not be used by:
- Anyone without a valid driver’s license or with a suspended or restricted license.
- For illegal purposes or activities.
- To transport persons or property for hire.
- In any speed test, contest, race, rally, speed endurance event, speed demonstration, or on any race track or road course. No insurance company will cover a rental car used on a track, making you liable for significant costs.
- To teach someone to drive.
- On any unpaved surfaces.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in the termination of your rental and billing your insurance company and security deposit for any damages.
Tickets
Renters are responsible for all parking, traffic, speeding, or other violations incurred during the rental period, including any associated fees, penalties, towing charges, or impound costs.
Customer Pick-Up & Drop-Off
We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off at major hotels in Las Vegas and curbside pick-up at McCarran Airport during normal business hours. After-hours pick-up and drop-off are available for an additional fee.
Vehicle Pick-Up & Drop-Off
We provide valet service for vehicle delivery to your location or pick-up from your location within Las Vegas. A $200 Valet Delivery surcharge applies, and this service must be arranged in advance.
